I am a recent new patient of Dr. Jarman. I have a long history of developing tendinitis in a variety of joints. Sadly, the usual course of treatment for me involves steroid injections into the angry joint of the month. I am petrified of painful injections and I have had a number of doctors mock me or dismiss me as a look of panic sweeps across my face. My irrational fear of needles, coupled with my rationale fear of pain has annoyed more providers than not. However, Dr. Jarman took control of the situation and used distraction techniques, my spouse, and his own body to keep me still (since flinching while a needle is in an elbow joint is NOT the best result). After, he stays in the room while I “reboot” myself. We all know how busy and chaotic a doctor’s office practice can become. Dr. Jarman has never made me feel bad about my asking for and receiving what I needed to walk out of his office visits, I decided to leave a review on this website in order to tell Dr. Jarman and his staff THANK YOU!
