After consulting with six different Pediatric Dermatologists in South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties), Dr. Ana M. Duarte was the ONLY Pediatric Dermatologist who could get a handle on our daughter's super infectious eczema which required her being hospitalized and at the time using 100 fluorescent light box treatment. Fortunately, we were already following Neurology at Miami Children's hospital. Her entire skin throughout her body from head to toe was oozing and she would itch uncontrollably day and night. I cannot say enough good things to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Duarte and the Neurology/Neurosurgery Dept. at Miami Children's hospital. She is the only Pediatric Dermatologist I would ever trust with the care of our child and highly recommend her high level of proficiency, skill, and ability with any concerns, care, and assistance you may require with children's skin care.

Good at what she does which is child dermatology. Forget about the bells and whistles. Not very personable or approachable. A few minutes tops for the appointment. She has others in the room testing the child. She refuses to go near or touch. For most of the visits ( for 4 years) she stood at the door ordering all around to check the child, what to write up, and order if necessary.

In One Word, FANTASTIC. I have had to see Dr. Duarte for dermatological issues as a senior citizen. i guess I am one of her oldest children. NOT an issue. she put me totally at ease and spent all the time needed to explain and discuss my issues.
